- ➤ Bay City Academy students delivered 125 care packages to McLaren Bay Region Hospital nurses on Dec. 10 in a yearly holiday tradition that began after the school superintendent’s COVID-19 complications. The students fundraised with cocoa and popsicle sales (and created personalized messages) to show their thanks. MLive
- ➤ After a fatal antisemitic attack in Australia, Flint Township’s Jewish community gathered Monday night at Shea Automotive — lighting a 22-foot menorah to celebrate Hanukkah with a message of unity and resilience. The menorah will remain lit for the eight-day holiday. WNEM

- ➤ FIM Repertory Theatre announced 'A Facility for Living', an upcoming production at its local theatre. Performance dates and ticket details will be shared soon for local audiences to plan their visit. ABC12
