- ➤ Volunteers are preserving the historic USS Edson by cleaning, painting, and repairing the ship at 1680 Martin St. in Bay City — the Bay Area Chamber of Commerce organized the effort with the Rotary Satellite Club joining the work after a guided tour last week. - ➤ Donations for the 2nd Annual Feelin Good Turkey Drive are now being accepted at several drop off locations in Bay City as organizers aim to feed 200 families; the giveaway will take place behind Applebee's on the corner of Wilder and Euclid and start at 8 a.m.+ last year the drive helped food for 164 families.
