Large parts of Michigan received two to three inches of rain last week, which slightly lowered moderate and severe drought levels measured on October 21 while 68% of the state remained abnormally dry.
Experts say four consecutive weeks of similar rain will be needed to recharge deep soil—keeping full drought relief in the future.
