- ➤ Garber Automotive Group will offer free oil changes to local veterans and active military on November 8 at all its mid-Michigan dealerships, including the Bay City location. - ➤ Bay Valley Resort opened its new restaurant, Heatherfields, on Oct 17 as the centerpiece of its $15 million redevelopment that began earlier this year, drawing guests, resort partners, and community members to its grand opening. The resort upgraded its lobby and half of its guest rooms and will finish renovating its event space, golf course, spa, and salon by the end of the year—resort officials said. MLive
