- ➤ The Iron Paws program at the Saginaw Regional Correctional Facility pairs inmates with shelter dogs from Bay County Animal Services so the dogs can learn to get adopted and the inmates can build new skills—handler Quawn Green said the program gives hope to both the dogs and the inmates. ABC12
- ➤ Father Daniel Christe— a Bay City native—overcame a difficult past after losing his sister and a period of heavy partying to answer his long-held call to serve God. Ordained on May 30th, he now serves at St Mary University Parish and Sacred Heart Parish in Mt. Pleasant while guiding students through their challenges. ABC12
- ➤ Mid-Michigan hosted several events this fall weekend—on Thursday, psychic Matt Fraser performed in Flint and Farm Fright Nights brought spooky fun in Frankenmuth today. Families can look ahead to Saturday with dads and donuts at the Flint Public Library, a free storytelling festival in Fenton, and a Saginaw River presentation in Bay City with light refreshments. - ➤ Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel warned residents and businesses that ransomware attacks can lock them out of their devices and demand payment during Cyber Security Awareness Month. - ➤ Medicare enrollment begins today and runs through December 7, giving seniors time to review and update their health and drug plans. Experts warn—seniors should never share personal details over the phone—that scammers may call pretending to be trusted sources like a doctor’s office. WNEM
