Good morning, Bay City.

We the People will hold a peaceful counter-protest Saturday at 5 p.m. at Wenonah Park in downtown Bay City—aiming to reaffirm America’s founding ideals by featuring Constitution readings, a voter registration table, and a nonpartisan prayer for unity in response to the planned No Kings demonstration.

Gretchen Sommer, founder of Lucky Day Animal Rescue, wrote a children’s book about Artichoke, a rescued goat who lost his back legs and ears to frostbite — he now grazes and thrives at the sanctuary — and the book is available on Amazon and IngramSpark.
