- ➤ Delta College officials accepted Michael Gavin’s resignation effective Dec. 31 and selected Andrea Ursuy as interim president to start on Jan. 1. - ➤ Classes were canceled at Nouvel Catholic Central on Friday after principal Tim Marciniak died early following an ongoing health challenge, his family by his side — he had served Bay City Central High School for 18 years before joining Nouvel in 2023 — and the school now invites the community to pray for those he touched.
