- ➤ This week, Michigan drivers pay an average of $3.09 per gallon for regular unleaded gas — a 6-cent increase from last week — even though the price is 13 cents lower than last month and 27 cents lower than last year. WNEM

- ➤ Yesterday, the Bay City Commission approved a plan to use $5 million from bridge lease funds for street repairs—$2.5 million will go to immediate work and $2.5 million will be reserved for future matching grants.
