- ➤ Police are investigating the death of Bay City resident Pedro Nunez, 42, found unresponsive on the River Walk path near Breaker Cove on Sept. 1 at 11:19 p.m.—witnesses reported he was riding an e-bike when lifesaving efforts failed. WNEM
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Luenell will perform at the FIM Capitol Theatre on Friday, Sept. 12th + the event will give local fans a chance to see her live. ABC12
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Bay City Public Schools approved a three-year contract with the teachers union that gives a 3% raise for the first two years and a 2% raise for the third year—also putting preschool teachers on the K—12 pay scale. The deal ends required after-school work sessions and lets teachers have more control over their assignments. MLive
