CRIME NEWS

  • On June 1 at 3:53 a.m., a 41-year-old man was shot 16 times after leaving an unlicensed after-hours club at 3238 Wadsworth Road in Buena Vista Township—police are reviewing video footage and interviewing witnesses to identify the hooded gunman.  MLive

CULTURE NEWS

  • The Antique Toy and Firehouse Museum acquired the Super Tender from Hemet, California and launched an $80,000 fundraising campaign to cover the cost of transporting the vehicle so it can join the historic Super Pumper in Bay City—donations of $250 or more earn an invitation to an unveiling event planned for early 2026. Community support remains key to preserving this firefighting history—helpful donations and campaign shares will make a difference.  MLive
