- ➤ State Rep. Kathy Schmaltz has proposed a temporary suspension (House Bill 5966) of state gasoline and diesel tax to lower high fuel prices and to last until Nov. 1 or until prices drop below $3.50. Drivers could save ($8) per 15-gallon fill-up. WNEM
- ➤ Bay City Bridge Partners is offering discounted weekend tolls for vehicles with a BC-PASS transponder on the Liberty and Independence bridges from June 6 to Aug. 30 — with all vehicles crossing free on July 4. Residents also receive free crossings on these bridges until 2028. ABC12
