ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Storms on May 18 caused damage in Mid-Michigan, leaving downed trees and power lines. Crews worked Monday night to clear debris — Consumers Energy advises residents to keep a safe distance and have phones charged as more storms are possible today. WNEM
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ ITC will deploy helicopters to inspect high voltage power lines from May 27 through June 30, with Bay County flights scheduled from June 18 to 21 to check for worn equipment and vegetation hazards.
