The annual M-15 Garage Sale will take place on Saturday, May 3 along a 70-mile corridor from Bay City to Clarkston and is expected to draw 20,000 to 30,000 shoppers.

The facility (located at 100 Center Ave) will be open Monday and Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Wednesday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., and Saturday from 1 to 7:30 p.m., while tickets cost $7 for adults and $5 for others.

A new surgical center using advanced technology opened at Saginaw County Animal Care & Control on April 30th at 5615 Bay Road to speed animal clearance and offer low-cost services such as sterilization, microchipping and vaccinations.

Officials held a ribbon ceremony and said the center will strengthen rescue partnerships and improve pet adoptability — a move driven by community needs.
