- ➤ On Tuesday, April 14, a tornado cut a nearly four-mile path in Albee Township (reaching 105 mph) that uprooted trees and damaged houses and outbuildings in southern Saginaw County. MLive

- ➤ Sanford Lake began refilling at 12:01 a.m. on April 15 after a dam failed nearly six years ago from a rain event; water has already risen 9 feet and will climb 7 more feet by Memorial Day while engineers pause the process for two weeks — letting experts monitor the dam. MLive
