- ➤ Bay City will host a large-scale farmers market that begins in June at 409 1st St, running every Tuesday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Vendors must apply by April 21—acceptance notices will be sent by April 29. MLive
- ➤ Bay City Fireworks Festival said the show will go on as planned this July despite tariffs that may raise the cost of fireworks by nearly 54 percent—Festival President Earl Bovia said delays in receiving some items could change future displays and heavier traffic on Vets Bridge is expected. - ➤ Bay City Mayor Chris Girard said he did not face pressure from State Rep. Timothy Beson to veto the immigration resolution, calling the claims from Monday's commission meeting entirely false.
