- ➤ Paul and Christy Akeo, a Michigan couple held for 32 days on fraud charges in a timeshare dispute, returned home on March 15 (after U.S. and Mexican officials worked together to free them) and agreed to donate the disputed funds to a nonprofit for orphan children (resolving the matter). WNEM

- ➤ Detroit Pistons clinched their first playoff berth since 2019 and ended a two-game losing streak with a win of 117 to 105 against the Toronto Raptors on Friday night.
