- ➤ Faygo announced two new nostalgic drink flavors—Super Pop with an ice cream taste and Bubble Pop with bubble gum and vanilla hints—that will be sold at most Meijer stores statewide starting Friday and will soon appear at other Faygo retailers. ABC12
- ➤ Consumers Energy has mobilized over 600 crews to handle weekend storms that may cause outages across Mid-Michigan—mobile storm units have been stationed in Cadillac, Houghton Lake and Gaylord to restore power within 48 hours. Mid Michigan NOW

- ➤ Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel warned Bay City residents that a toll road scam text falsely claims unpaid tolls and threatens legal action by linking to a fake website—she urged people not to click links or share personal information. Mid Michigan NOW
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Michigan will raise unemployment benefits effective April 2 when new claims get an increase from $362 to $446 per week and an extension to 26 weeks plus a dependent benefit rise from $6 to $12.66. The law also covers retroactive claims filed from Jan. 1 and claimants are advised to update their Michigan Web Account Manager for prompt processing. ABC12
