A line dancing event took place Friday at Old Town Distillery, and Hamilton St. Pub hosted a St. Paddy’s contest on Saturday; a dance fundraiser, Irish concert and store celebration are planned through Tuesday (venue details vary).

Shipwreck historian Ric Mixter will share dive footage and shipbuilding stories on Saturday, March 21, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Bay City Town Center; this free event reveals underwater secrets of vessels built along the Saginaw River + celebrates the area’s rich maritime legacy.

Bangor Township Schools is searching for a new superintendent after Matthew Schmidt's retirement; applications are due May 5 with interviews on June 1-2 and June 8-12, and the replacement will start July 1 on a multi-year contract with a salary range of ($150,000 to $190,000).
