On Friday, Feb. 27, community members gathered at The Neighb (3145 Russell St.) to celebrate late artist Nyesha Clark-Young’s life, artwork, and artivism, including her work with local seniors.

Over 100 people came together to share memories and view an art exhibit honoring her legacy.

On Feb. 24, DTE Energy notified the Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC) that it plans to file an application on April 27 for a new electric rate increase set to take effect in 2027.
