- ➤ Parade organizers have unveiled events for the 2026 season that begin with the Royal Kick-Off and the Queen Scholarship Pageant on Saturday, Mar. 1 and include community appearances, a special Mass, Flag Raising, Cocoa With The Queens and end with the annual parade featuring floats, bands & Irish dancers. - ➤ Bay City 4th Ward Commissioner Benjamin Tenney will introduce a resolution on Feb. 9 to provide warming centers during days when temperatures dip to single digits or heavy snowfall occurs, aiming to protect homeless residents from life-threatening exposure.
