- ➤ Bay City resident Brian Martindale launched his Kidneys for Kids campaign—aiming for 7,000 kidney donations in 2026—after his 2013 kidney donation saved a 10-year-old girl's life. He hopes the drive will increase local awareness of organ donation. MLive
