CRIME NEWS

  • A 32-year-old Bay City man, Brian McCarrick, has been arrested and charged with 11 counts in connection with grooming and assaulting a 13-year-old girl, with law enforcement urging the community for vigilance and to report any additional information.  ABC12
  • The FBI is investigating a deadly attack in New Orleans as an act of terrorism after a man drove a truck into a crowd on New Year's Day, among other local news including a murder hearing, a car fire, norovirus outbreaks, and New Year's babies in Mid-Michigan.  WNEM
